Marco Hippmann, born in Hamburg in 1968, studied at the Universities of Berlin, London and Stuttgart. He completed his diploma in architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart. Already during his studies he worked for various architectural firms, including Dasch Zürn Architekten. After his studies he worked for Behnisch & Partner (Günter Behnisch) and Johannes Manderscheid. In 2001 he started his own business and thus laid the foundation for today's office.
Between 2008 and 2013 he accompanied a lectureship at the University of Stuttgart at the Chair of Building Construction and Design I, Prof. Peter Cheret.
He is also a judge at competitions.
